RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: NY Times Article on PMU No mine, no compensation, and possibly a legal bill that would shake a real company, and submerge instantly this pos.
For eg; were the mining claims bt originally by the U.S. wholly owned subsidiary or were they transfered to that subsidiary ? My guess, and i don't have the time, or interest to research it, is that the mining claims were transfered.
Why transfered ?
Because the treaty they are using to sue the country does not include Canada.
Sounds easy to me to toss the law suit out on that basis alone, technical though it may be.
If these boys were smart, and given the sp I'm not at all sure they are, they would search for the only answer that would work, and that's a non cyanide extraction method.
If Pacific Rim is found to have anything to do with the several recent murders of people actively opposing the mine, one of whom was being guarded by the police 24 hours a day and he was still shot to death, the low sp will be the least of the problems of B of D of this company.
Frankly, I'm surprised the can find anyone to sit on the board of this company.
Local villagers are being murdered who oppose this mine; who the heck wants to be part of that.
