RIVERSTONE APPOINTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT-ENGINEERING

 

Riverstone Resources Inc. has appointed Peter Carter as vice-president of engineering effective March 1, 2012.

 

"We are very pleased to have Mr. Carter join the Riverstone team," commented Dwayne L. Melrose, President & COO of Riverstone. "Mr. Carter brings to Riverstone a proven track record for operating and constructing projects in developing countries. This will serve the company well as it moves to leverage greater shareholder value from its growing resource base while proceeding towards production. I look forward to working with Peter as a member of the management team."

 

Mr. Carter holds a diploma in Mining Technology from BCIT and a BSc in Mining Engineering from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology (Montana Tech) in Butte, Montana. In 2006, he earned an Executive MBA from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. He has over 25 years experience in the mining industry with various assignments in engineering, production management, and project development with an emphasis on surface mining operations.
