• Feb 21 2012 - successfully completed FCC (Federal Communications Commission) Certification testing of its flagship EAP3000 family of wideband, multi-channel WiFi access point (AP) products. With this certification, Edgewater Wireless can begin selling EAP3000 units in the U.S. and other countries that rely on the regulatory approval of the FCC.

 

• Feb 14 2012 - Tolly Group Report  test of its EAP3000 family of WiFi access points achieved better than 50 times (50x) greater performance when compared with three leading carrier class access points. The multi-channel EAP3000 radio architecture was impressive, outperforming the other APs typically by 20 to 30 times, and in some cases, greater than 50 times.”

 

• Feb 2, 2012 - successful trial of its flagship EAP3000 family of multi-channel, 802.11 compliant access point (AP) products in the region of Tres Pontas, Brazil. Edgewater Wireless replaced six (6) existing, single-channel access points with a single EAP3000 access point in an area of high networking congestion and interference. The single EAP3000 was able to increase performance and improve overall connectivity to the subscribers.

 

• Jan 18 2012 -  Red Network, a leading distributor of networking solutions in Brazil, have entered into a distribution supply agreement following a successful trial in Brazil. EAP3000 Access Points demonstrated superior performance in an outdoor trial where a single unit was able to transfer high-speed, high-definition (HD) video from an HD WiFi camera while simultaneously supporting multiple data transfers and voice over IP (VOIP) phone calls.

 

• Jan 10 2012 - División Integral de Telefonía (DIVITEL) S.A. de C.V., a leading systems integrator and solution provider of communications networks, has entered into a Distribution Agreement that will enable DIVITEL to sell, service and support Edgewater Wireless EAP3000 products in Mexico. DIVITEL provides network infrastructure and unified communications solutions to government agencies and large private enterprises.

 

• Dec 15 2011- -Jason Gurandiano has agreed to stand for election to the board of directors of its parent company KIK Polymers Inc. (KPI.V; TSX.V), a role that would see his expertise and experience help guide the growth of Edgewater Wireless. Mr. Gurandiano is a Managing Director in Deutsche Bank’s New York Investment Banking Group where he leads the Financial Technology coverage effort.

 

• Dec 13 2012 - Certification by ANATEL is a requirement for the use and sale of all telecommunications products in Brazil. YFI has successfully received certification for additional members of the EAP3000 family of high-performance, multi-channel WiFi products from the National Agency of Telecommunication(ANATEL), the Brazilian accreditation body for regulatory compliance.

 

• Nov 30 2011 - won a highly competitive trial conducted by J&J Telecom, a Texas-based telecommunications provider building high-performance WiFi networks. J&J put a number of products through extensive and rigorous testing looking for a high performance WiFi solution and only Edgewater Wireless’ EAP3000 could meet the challenge. J&J is looking forward to expanding its business by deploying EAP3000 products into multiple opportunities
