Does Bloom Lake produce a better concentrate than Kami will? Kami will produce a 60/40 magnetite to hematite ratio iron ore concentrate (this is preferred by steelmakers). Bloom Lake had low, 10% magnetite, in their deposits. Kami will blend its manganese down to 0.75%, well below crucial deleterious levels (Wabush sells 3% manganese products). Kami's concentrate will also be very low in sulphur, phosphorus and all other deleterious elements.
