RE: Prediction

RE: Prediction

If I could take a poll, it might show that most people expect an immediate but temporary plunge in the stock price. That selling will be emotional selling - from people who understandably are frustrated at the absurdly long cease trade status, leading to some investors wanting to "get out at any price". I would recommend resisting that attitude if you are going to sell your stock, because you will be selling close to the bottom. The lower it goes in this initial plunge, the more of a bargain it will be, and bargain hunters will come in and buy the stock, bidding it back up again. And why should they buy the stock? Clifton Star has some 5 million ounces of gold in a project which has or is close to infrastructure, located in a safe jurisdiction. It has only (roughly) 30 million shares outstanding, plenty of cash in the bank, and is approaching a pre-feasibility study this year. Ask yourself what should the market cap be for a company like that. Had there been no cease trade order the stock would likely have been at $4.00 or $5.00 by now. If the stock goes to $1.80-2.00, that will be an opportunity to buy at 50% or 60% off the price. The company will repair its reputation with a rising stock price and a refocusing back onto its fundamentals, which are excellent.
