Fugro develops water wells for potash mining in Ethiopia

In December 2011, Allana Potash awarded Fugro Consult in Germany a hydrogeological study in the Danakil desert in north-eastern Ethiopia. The goal of the study is to identify water resources for potash mining. The project contains hydrogeological groundwater investigation, water well testing and hydrogeological consultancy to determine locations for potash production, supervision of drilling and installation of water wells and potash production wells.
