WILAN TO ANNOUNCE FISCAL 2011 FINANCIAL RESULTS

Wi-LAN Inc. will release its audited financial results for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2011, on March 7, 2012, before the financial markets open.

Following the release of its fiscal 2011 financial results, Wi-LAN will host a conference call and audio webcast with Jim Skippen, chief executive officer, and Shaun McEwan, chief financial officer, at 10 a.m. Eastern Time the same day.
