Management at it's finestAhoy, laddies. 'Tis oft said that a company is only as good as it's Management and truer words hath seldom been spake. By the beard of Zeus,I think dark, sinister forces are behind recent character assassination attempts of our revered President. Such Poltroons and miscreants ought be given a taste of the Lash! Feast your eyes upon the President's own words on his worldly merits and virtues. Arrrr,I doubt not for a moment that he wouldst with malice abandon old wells but merely forgot they were thereabouts. And if thee be so righteous, let the first Basher who be without flaws cast the first Shale Rock! Here be my favorite post which inspires me through life's darkest moments:
“Does anyone know the history of Marc Dame in the public markets? If so can you please post something on this?”
This is courtesy of Mr. Dame:
I have been involved in the public markets for 13
years now and have both managed public companies both directly and
indirectly and also been involved in promoting them.
My first public company I was directly involved with was Newbridge
Resources Inc. which was a CPC (then known as a JCP at the time) I was
President and it was my first experience running a public company. We
did the first syndicated JCP and it was a success in that as a shell
company we had a very good market and stock appreciation. We did a
reverse takeover with an oil and gas company that is now Blackdog
Resources but was then Lamplighter Resources and I left the company.
I also did a number of public deals on the Nasdaq OTC board both
structuring and managing RTO's and the markets for them. One such public
shell was a fuel cell company called GreenVolt Inc. that we controlled
but did not manage except we managed the market which went from
.10
per share briefly to $6.00. I left it and it subsequently went back to
.10 at which time I reacquired control and did another RTO and took it
to $4:00 on a deal called Satellite Newspapers.
In the late eighties and early nineties, I was involved in helping in
promoting about 7 stocks that all went from say
.25 to a dollar or
more including a few that went to over $20 dollars a share.
I have a lot of market experience and don't forget Goldnev for the last
three years has been one of the more liquid traders on the TSX-V.
PS. That's a mighty fine Goose you have,WD40.
