RE: RE: JPM recommendation

RE: RE: JPM recommendation

That is not a "recommendation", simply a statement of what is possible.

On that note, it is entirely possible that serious settlement negotiations are taking place in advance of the release of the Federal Court's decision. The time before any reserved court decision is released is a fertile period for such discussions as neither party can be 100% confident of the outcome and therefore their respective bargaining positions are coloured by uncertainty. This can serve, in many cases , to bridge the settlement gap and trigger a deal. Here, LOGM must be concerned that not only will the appeal be granted but that the decision will contain wording that seriously undermines their overall position, so they ought to be trying to settle now as opposed to later when the question becomes not "if" but rather simply "how much"?

I bought more today as I do not see this dropping further before the decision, or news of a settlement, is released.
