Elson and Randy Hawkings have got the template down to a fine art.  They start from virtually nothing and using their contacts, oil patch savvy, and all around steady eddy, nose to the grindstone philosophy and after 3 or 4 years of tough sledding and reinvesting their profits good things happen.  ,

 

When the drilling industry heats up and it has and it will get a lot hotter, the big guys get to thinking that their iron is getting old,  Then the next thought is how can we replace the old iron and still expand our fleet.  One of the best ways is to take out the smaller guys.  And a 40 rig firm with great personnel, fairly new iron and long term contracts in place will start to look awfully darned good.

I look for a takeout offer in the next year.   This company just has too many pluses not to be noticed by its competitors.  Comments??,
