RE: Victor

First of all - I'm happy for all UMJ shareholders - as I said on the trading halt, you deserved a break. It took tickle a while, but he still managed to find something negative. I think my first reaction to him was right, he can only enjoy people's suffering. Sad really.

prested,

I know what you mean, but I wouldn't want to see ordinary UMJ shareholders lose, just to add another misstep to the resume of "he-who-shall-remain-nameless".  He's had enough failures anyway, he didn't need to add to the total.  As they say, even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while.

Actually, the guy didn't really fare well on his adventure in UMJ.  The legal fees, Court awarded costs, and the internal management time [not a big loss, they weren't doing anything anyway], likely more than offset the gain he should pick up.  Of course, he made a huge fool of himself, and introduced many to the realization that the Company he headed didn't have much of a head. Again, the damage to his reputation was limited to those meeting him for the first time - everyone else knew he was a buffoon.

One other thing I can say about the outcome - I think it is just wonderful that shareholders who stuck with UMJ during the Inspiration/Forbes Manhattan fiasco, never had to find out what the alternative would have been if RS and his compatriots had not won the day.  I have no doubt that had it gone the other way, you would have had to endure an extended period of seeing shareholder value deteriorate, as those "guiding" the company filled their pockets.

Again, good to see this going your way.  I haven't digested the whole thing, as I didn't really have a grip on UMJ, and know nothing about the the other company.  But it sure looks like UMJ shareholders have avoided was was looking like a trying time.  And its always great to see the day up 92% - except for one person claiming to be a shareholder, who wasn't tickled.
