Salida Strategy

Salida Strategy

"Salida will be making changes in direction of LFD and a pitch to shareholders soon, sure they could liquidate the company but I feel they have other investment strategies on the burner and will push LFD to their area interest.

It is advantagious to Salida to have that pull, yet not own the company. If they continue to load up, I see the divident  cancelled (proxy vote?) and Salida giving a clear direction of their intent. As they say below on their site they are opportunistic and seem to like the energy sector. If they had some insight of Soros minimizing his assets in LFD, it would explain them going full out  to capture such a large float of the shares. This is my speculation. Personally  I wanted to receive my divident at least out of this but I do feel a bit more releived with Salida in the picture, even if this changes our outcome. FX"

Salida Capital takes an active, opportunistic management style when investing in private, small, mid and large cap resource companies. Salida Capital has been recognized globally through numerous awards and accreditations for delivering industry leading products and performance.

Within the energy sector and specifically the Global Energy Fund, these opportunities range from companies involved directly or indirectly in the exploration, development, production, or distribution of oil, gas, coal, uranium or alternative energies.
