2012-02-27 New Island Resources Inc. proposes to issue by way of a non-brokered private placement up to five million postconsolidated common shares at a price of five cents per share, for gross proceeds of $250,000. The share consolidation on a 1-for-10 basis was approved by the shareholders at the annual and special meeting of shareholders held on Dec. 20, 2011. Insiders may participate in this issue.
April 21, 1997--New Island Resources (Alberta Stock Exchange NIS.) New Island Minerals Ltd. (the "company") announces that pursuant to resolutions approved at an annual meeting of shareholders of the company held on February 27, 1997, the name of the company has been changed to New Island Resources Inc. At the same meeting, the shareholders approved a consolidation arrangement whereby the holders of common shares of the company are required to exchange their common shares for common shares of New Island Resources Inc. on the basis of eight (8) common shares of the former New Island Minerals Ltd. to one (1) common share of New Island Resources Inc.
