RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Inflection Point for nat gas?? My friend, there is no need to feel so indignant about a contrarian view, if you can even call it that. I was not doubting your information. I was merely sharing what I've been through, on a first hand basis, on the various past attempts of the gas industry trying to find a new market for NG other than heating.
In the past two decade or so we tried long and hard with no success at all. Meanwhile we do know that NG has been very successful in Europe and other places over the world for non heating use. Somehow what works in Europe and Asia just can't be replicated in North America - even with government incentives (such as the one time rebates on NG vehicles of $800 per car if I remember correctly).
Times have changed and with the price of gas so high and perhaps NG can get in at last. We used to watch the price spread between gasoline and NG daily while I worked on the NGV program. We used to joke about that we can gauge the boss' mood today based on the spread.
Today MQL is the only stock in my portfolio that is up in SP. Looks like I have to wait another day to fill out my full share of this stock later. Cheers.
