PDAC

PDAC

Back again after a few months holiday from watching the day to day movements of share price - that can drive you crazy after a while - although we remain significantly undervalued share price is much higher than when I last looked.  Maybe another two month holiday will take me back over two dollars.  I was at PDAC yesterday.

VTR - Kevin Bullock was there and |I spoke briefly with him; he seems upbeat and company seems focussed on doing the drilling and progressing with the projects.

Iamgold - I spoke with their I.R. guy.  I invited them to buy us out for $7.00 per share.  He said they would not likely be interested in the foreseeable future as they were focussed on developing their north American properties and had plenty of West African property already;  He spoke to me about the unrest last year, felt it was largely due to Ivory coast economic issues, and it seems there was a great deal of important dialogue between gold miners and government during that time - but he also felt the situation was overblown by some journalists;

Randgold - their IR guy was not sure but thought they might still own some Volta shares;  he promised to keep us in mind if they came across any other properties that did not meet their own criteria;

ORE - agreed that we share many similar traits and spoke respectfully about Volta;

EDV - listened to my suggestion that VTR is seriously undervalued and they ought to consider buying us out for $7.00 per share.

MUN - spoke with TEO the CEO and president; she is cute and fun and in charge of a multimillion dollar mining company;

Better days ahead
