RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Big drop today... I am not convinced with the Yukon mines or specifically Ketza. When YNG started ramping up Nevada there was a lot of talk about Ketza and to the point of starting it up. Then there was the issue with Tagish Mines were YNG was going to take Ketza out of their portfolia and start a new company I believe YS which would consist of Tagish and Ketza. My thoughts at that time was why would they do that if Ketza was good, ends up though apparently they wanted to use money from that project to fund Nevada as that was and is their main objective and best bang for the buck so to speak.
Then they spoke of selling Ketza off .. again made me wonder if it is so good why don't they just open it. But again main project is Nevada and they wanted to get money into Nevada without further diluting shares. So maybe method in their madness but that did not go through either.
So now they are apparently going to put Ketza back online but I would have to check but isn't the projected dte 2013 or ? that is a long ways away and a lot could happen by then and then I am sure more money will be needed to do that ?
I guess there are a lot of vaiables and only time will tell ! If they did get Ketza up and running it would add to the size and gold reserves and output of the company but I guess how much it helps would be how well it did on a net value basis compared to its cost of getting back into productin and cost of operation.
I think if they can get Nevad running the way they want it will probably take them to their potential while holding almost a billion outstanding shares, how much difference Ketza would make is yet to be seen.
Harsh day on the market for global markets, gold and YNG ... I see someone tried to buy it back up earlier and it didn't work will see what they end of the day holds but getting closer to .30.
Best of fortune to all ! Gerald
