Fluli--Despite the absurdity of doing a tech analysis on GNG to see where it's going, I do believe in looking at broad areas of interest (e.g., gold mining) over long periods of time.  And the charts suggest that the couple year bear market ended in Dec.  Since the powers that be have not been able to stop this bull market over the last 11 yrs, I think it's unlikely they will be able to now, though the market will undoubtedly remain turgid.  If they are able to--and the test is right in front of us--it would be an amazing thing.  I would be surprised if the long term chart of gold could be made bearish, but who knows.
