RE: Kitimat terminal

RE: Kitimat terminal

It looks like they're getting cold feet on this project . A few months ago they were adamant that a decsion would be made by March 31 . Recently China has declared they have 100 years plus of shale gas reserves which they will start developing . Japan is considering putting their nuclear plants back on line as LNG  to produce power is breaking them . They can't just consider what the situation is now but also 10 years from now . Especially as it looks like BC will go NDP next election . And you don't know what kind of crazy policies they will institute . How about a fracturing ban like Quebec ? How about royalty like Alberta ? How about taxation based on assets rather than income like Mike Harcourt did back in the eighties ?

regards

G
