Geysir: balanced perspective

Geysir: balanced perspective

Thank you for your post. I am also not interested in being part of Catalyst. I also think that Mr. Greensdale has crossed the line in some places. I have already stated that granting him two million options in 2010 was wrong and obscene. Unlike yourself, I am not confused and undecided on how to vote, Please allow me to explain.

I am reluctent to vote on the basis of single-issue controversies. Same view hold true in political elections as it does in corporate proxy contests. Best to consider all issues; weight the merits (upside and downside) of each and every issue, and then arrive at a judgement based upon a "balance of probabilities".  Perhaps my viewpoint is more reflective of a Canadian cultural perspective than that which one finds in the U.S.A.

In any case, rest assured that the decision is yours alone to make and I fully respect that fact. Undoubtedly you are giving it the serious consideration the vote deserves. My only point in responding to your post is to respectfully implore you to (1) review all of the issues on the table with a balanced perspective and (2) not cast your vote on the basis of a single-issue "hot button" issue.

When I was a teenager I learned to "dance with the one that brought you".  That old cliche may not always ring true.  I believe that it does in this proxy contest. Thank you for considering my ramblings.

Respectfully,

Doug Harland.
