RE: RE: RE: Any longs or dreamers left?! No point beating the guy over the head anymore. He is all in and has to believe a miracle is still possible just to remain somewhat sane. Guys like this never sell due to two reasons:
(1) in a down market, the fear of liquidating at the "bottom" and potentially missing out on a significant rally. The idea that one can be patient and out wait the market doesn't work very often in the world of penny stocks.
(2) in a bull market, fear of missing the boat. Simply put, greed coupled with delusions of grandeur often cloud people's judgement which results in them overplaying that rare winning hand. Unfortunately, as most know, home runs are far and few between on the TSXV, but thoughts of another Diamondfields are what keep everyone coming back.
On another note, it is pretty obvious many others were watching the charts as I was.

The precious metals have also been taking it on the chin of late too (see Feb 29 and Mar 6), so it isn't the least bit surprising many junior miners have been struggling in recent months. That being said, the overall TSXV is still up quite sharply since it's Dec 2011 low while shares of Canaco have been going the opposite direction for reasons beyond my comprehension. Although I did take a loss on this last year, it could have been much worse had I turned the other direction and pretended everything was fine. For what it's worth, I am not sure there is much to lose on the downside now that we are retesting the Nov/Dec 2011 lows once again (but with the lack of info who really knows for sure? Shares like this have often traded for less than cash).
Anyway, judging by the pickup in volume, it looks like many others agree this is worth one more look. We'll see what happens...
