RE: Matched All Time Low Close Swassy,
So you bought at 46 instead of 48; and you sold no higher than 22. You've already told the forum the first bail out you made $10. So do you want congratulations on this marvelous accomplishment? I'd say its equivalent to a self inflicted fatal shooting, bragging that you only hit yourself with five bullets, not six.
In your rush to find negatives you warn that higher oil prices could hurt FAU. Did you ever consider that gold is a hedge against inflationary trends like higher oil prices? My guess is any significant rise in oil, will result in a rise in gold, and benefit producers, not hurt them.
I must say that your decision to discontinue investing in Canadian junior miners, is the only intelligent comment I've ever heard from you. With your approach to investing, it wasn't a gamble, it was a sure loss. It will detract from the results of knowledgeable investors; someone will no longer have you to sell to them at the low, and buy from them at the high. It will have some effect on the Canada U.S. trade balance.
We lose a buyer at highs, and a seller at lows - but there is a great positive to your departure. The SS [StromStench] is out of our lives. Good riddance!
