If there are 11.5 million shares still short... Won't they start to cover at the first sign of a price increase?  That's the standard cause of a "short squeeze".  That, of course would be the "voluntary" cover.  The other scenario would be that the broker(s) that issued the shorts will call them and force the cover at the predetermined time.  That's usually 30, 60, 90 or 180 days.  Are there any brokers that allow a longer time to cover? 

11.5 million short is surprising to me.  How much further down do they want to watch it go? lol
