RE: RE: Black Diamond entering the business I have heard nothing about Black Diamond or Precision entering the field. As far as the other competitors...
Secure is Canada only, even if there system is complete handling and excellent it only affects 25% of PSN's total buisness. Plus at some point PSN will offer total services so it will be equal competition.
Total is Primarily Canadian and will be offering only a tank. They will depend on there established relationships.
Strad is in both countries with their primary US focus being on Eagleford, Marcellus and North Dakota. There tank is supposed to be better and cheaper but who knows. They have a production facility in Nisku and an option on using one in Texas.
Ridgline will release their tank to testing with EOG. It will be a while before they move beyond it.
Greenhunter has a tank pretty much ready to go but is a new company with limited exposure as of yet.
If on the 23rd Poseidon reports ahead of schedule results, as far as tank placement and everything along with the development of some sort of extended water service line things are all good. They still have 3-4 months of monoply I would guess so in that time they can still hammer out 6 tanks a week and continue to penetrate the market.
The other companies have to prove that there system is better, cheaper, faster etc then PSN's where as PSN only had to prove that there tank was better then the 400 BBL. Easier said then done. That being said I will be buying some Strad as I like their current buisness and if there tank works out and gains even 2-3% penetration that would be a game changer for them.
