RE: Something to ponder & TSX Companies

RE: Something to ponder & TSX Companies

Yes, they definitely have until March 31st to report, but IMHO they will do so by March 30th given the weekend and probably in the last week of March. Hopefully they don't feel obligated to rush into a JV agreement to match the timing. That is my one concern, but I think CS knows not to do that given his wise and guarded statements on the timing of a JV agreement. Negotiations for any plan of this sort usually last much longer than the time elapsed since the last announcement.

Insofar as the rationale that a delay is happening because of a problem regarding numbers, IMHO that is the last thing they are concerned about today. They will meet the reporting time limit and the numbers will be what I expect based on what CS told us in the conference call on the last financials.

They originally outlined a strategic plan that saw growth in plant size based on required needs. However, in that plan they also clearly stated that they would seek JV and licensee operations. IMHO, everything is fitting into place. Operationally  I have seen start-ups in the industries I worked in follow very similar measured plans. It was a smart idea and is quite common in operational environments throughout many other industries too.

Regarding depreciation or impairment questions, IMHO we are getting way ahead  of ourselves. The Financials report until Dec 31 2011 only. Also, IMHO if the auditors (aside from the ones on the internal audit committee) have even looked at the financials yet, I would be very surprised.  IMHO nothing to ponder; well not that issue anyway.

Lastly, JV negotiations will most likely address the strategic plan and could well make it moot. I kind of expect anything from a total cost assumption by the JV companies and revenue sharing agreement which is often the case in licensing agreements, to the ultimate take out at a significant premium.  IMHO, CS will get us the best deal which ever way it goes, but I truly doubt that costs will ever be a concern for BXI again.

Hopefully I haven't accidentally insulted anyone in this posting.
