Re-reading this, I am concluding that KPMG is not going to withhold or qualifiy their opinion?

Last year the exiting audit company shot of a little zinger when they exited in a note to the financials. Note = Pure boiler plate, means nothing.

If the Opinion page of the financials is clean (no "subject to" or "may not be relied upon") etc that will be a relief. The notes on asset valuation will be worth reading.

I'd love to think KPMG will sign off thus - they have very deep pockets after all.
