I think it will transact

I think it will transact

Long time follower of VT. Have traded it a couple of times but wasn't holding during the halt.  Got back in at $13.50 on Friday.

I have some confidence that this company will transact and as such I continue to hold.

1. VT is not Potash Corp.  10% of the size, and as stated by the Premier "not a strategic asset for SASK"

2. Harper won't let the government block another transaction.  Period.

3. There are too many potential bidders circling.  Too much interest that the asset is undervalued.

4. Any potential bidder could bring in a Canadian strategic investor (Agruim) or financial investor (AIMCo? CPP?) to hold a minority share and satify the government.

Given the third point above, it's possible that if and when this does transact (or the perception that it might transact turns positive), the share price could be $16+.  I will consider adding to my position in the AM, depending on the gap up.
