RE: RE: RE: RE: Reed Update..

Are you saying that Reed Lake mine is NOT inside Grassy River Provincial Park???

1st Nations and Metis Nations are "stakeholders"....and will have to be consulted... that is the way things are going to happen....unless you want roadblocks going up???

This will apply to Reed or any other mine in Manitoba.

Regardless,

They only HAVE   AEP.

Advanced Exploration Permit.

Which allows them to take  a 10,000 tonne bulk sample.

That is 200 truck loads on a 50 tonne truck.

The MAIN mining permit will take more time, besides....

I believe they are gong to drive the ramp deeper, at least that was the pre-lim plan, before they started extracting ore....depending on the mining method used, you don't want to mine out your upper levels BEFORE the bottom, otherwise your going to have to fill those stopes or risk creating bad ground conditions in the lower stopes. Especially if they long-hole the stopes vs. cut and fill.

It will all depend on the ore they start to pull from Lalor, but if they REALLY needed the Reed Lake ore they would have been driving the decline last Fall, but they waited too long to apply for permits, and waited for Board Approval, if they had started Last Summer they could have been at the ore by Q4 of 2012 vs. Q4 of 2013.

They just started clearing trees this week.....would you like me to drive to site and take pictures for you...I will do it if you REALLY REALLY want me too.?

Jeesh...I am on your side here people....BUT I will DEAL IN REALITY......NOT FANTASY......I have and still work in the mines, I have been on mine start-ups before,  HAVE YOU?

Their first round into the decline will probably be in June or July.

I will keep you updated....
