Thanks, coquitlam. He used to do this (and may still, I'm not sure) by searching out shelll companies (those with a listing that were not active) that had recently been acquired by a new group. He'd do this by searching databases in the reference library here in Toronto. Seemed a bit strange to me but he made a lot of coin doing this. Not my cup of tea. Just used it to illustrate the point about the under the radar plays (as an extreme example, of course).
