RE: China says develope Bokan

RE: China says develope Bokan

This is all political posturing. Obama is trying to look tough in the eyes of American people. This dispute won't be resolved for years and will have little or no effect on the markets.  Obama cannot be relying on China to fill US requirements for heavy rare earths. He is just attempting to deflect blame for short sighted US policies that have manufacturers up in arms. If he doesn't follow up with some made in America solutions, he will begin to look weaker and weaker. Unfortunately, the GOP is pathetic and Obama knows it. He doesn't want to lose his environmental base in an election year where doing nothing is probably better than moving aggressively forward. We can only hope that there are some who will hold his feet to the fire in the election campaign. As for me, I'm a robocalling Canuck, who wants Harper impeached!
