Yes, Resolute has no choice now and will have to raise their bid.

Resolute need St-Félicien Mill because of the wood chips. Right now, Resolute have huge stocks/inventory of wood chips, and they would like to supply 100 % of the St-Félicien Mill, instead of just 30 % as actually. When Abitibi sold St-Félicien Mill to SFK PULP fund, there was an agreement that Abititi had to supply St-Félicien Mill in wood chips for cheap and for several years.... Today this agreement hurts Resolute big time. They just cannot let go Fibrek, they will bid higher for sure !
