Venezuela playing Hard ball right now! The pattern here is easy to see, Venezuela goes 90 days with no written offers only a few low ball verbal maybes This their attempt to get something for next to nothing. In an attempt to scare investors and RML into accepting on of these pathetic offers they allow 6 days to pass Dec 15 - 21 2011 beyond the time expirery date of Dec 14 during these 6 days investors think they have lost everything and then the VZ Government comes out with another 90 day extention back dated to Dec.14 2011
From Dec 14, 2011 to March 14, 2012 is AN EXACT REPEAT OF THE ABOVE. We are now in the 6 day period again where we all think we have lost everything.
The difference this time when they issue another 90 day Decree for negotiations is that the Press has exposed the Venezuelan Government tactics of the last 6 Months. Venezuela now knows they must negotiate in Sincerety. We will see proposals and offers in WRITTING this time around. The reputation of the Nation is at stake here and Venezuela's ability to do business with the intenational community. An agreement must be made because the international community will veiw the Nationalization of ASSETS belonging to RML as simply Criminal Theft. I do not believe Hugo wants Venezuela to be a South American version of North Korea. If Hugo can reach a deal with China than he can get a deal with RML.
Both parties in this dispute are Postering, Saber Rattling, Staring down, one another or how ever you want to look at it. Venezula is threatening a direct take over with no negotiations RML on the other hand is threatening to embarress and Black List Venuzuela on an intenational level with Arbitration. It would be in both parties interest to resolve this matter as soon as possible with a fair and reasonable allround settlement. WE WILL HAVE ANOTHER 90 DAY DECREE FOR NEGOTIATIONS, AND JUST AS BEFORE BACK DATED, THIS TIME TO MARCH 14, 2012
