Proposed LNG Import Terminal Near Coos Bay It's called the Jordan Cove Energy Project, it's an import facility and I think they're building the pipeline which is called the Pacific Connector gas pipeline. Here's what they say and a link:

THE JORDAN COVE - PACIFIC CONNECTOR PROJECT WILL PROVIDE AN ESSENTIAL SOURCE OF NATURAL GAS TO SOUTHWEST OREGON AND THE SURROUNDING REGION.
The Jordan Cove Energy Project
The Jordan Cove Energy Project is a proposed state-of-the-art LNG import terminal that will be located in the International Port of Coos Bay in Coos County, Ore. The facility will be capable of receiving LNG supplies (primarily from Asia and Africa) from specially-designed marine vessels, storing the natural gas in liquid form, and re-delivering the natural gas through interconnecting pipelines to the Pacific Northwest and adjacent markets.
The Jordan Cove Energy project will connect directly to southwest Oregon through the existing Coos County Pipeline via its interconnect with NorthwestNatural.

The Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline Project
The Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline Project is a proposed 234-mile, 36-inch diameter pipeline designed to transport up to 1 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day from the Jordan Cove LNG terminal to markets in the region. The Pacific Connector project includes interconnects to Williams´ Northwest Pipeline near Myrtle Creek, Ore.; Avista Corporation´s distribution system near Shady Cove, Ore.; Pacific Gas and Electric Company´s gas transmission system; Tuscarora Gas Transmission´s system; and Gas Transmission Northwest´s system, all located near Malin, Ore.
It's smaller than the one proposed at Kitimat by Apache, EOG & Encana but with the pipeline it's similar in scope even though the gas will be flowing the opposite direction. What do you want to bet that somewhere, someone MAY be in negotiations right now for the short jaunt right down to Coos Bay for a quick unload of Canadian LNG right from the Horn River basin itself. O.K. try this. Where else might they be able to load the boat full of LNG to bring to Coos Bay to do this....mythical unloading of a LNG laden ship??? The export facility at Sabine Pass on the Gulf coast?? Man, that's a long haul!!! So if it ain't going to be coming from there, where is that LNG export facility (going to be) located again where they can load that ship going to Coos Bay??? My bet is that ultimately it's coming from the Kitimat area and one of those proposed export facilities even though the current write up says that these nat gas supplies will be coming in from Asia & Africa, to which I say: Ya RIGHT!!!!!!! When there's cheaper Canadian gas available right next door????? That's a good one!!! Asia & Africa....wow and we're supposed to believe that??? Gas from Africa heading to Coos Bay. Ya sure whatever they say, I almost believe that....
