BP Wind should buy CTW

BP Wind should buy CTW

BP Wind now has 1000 turbines:

If BP Wind bought 1000 Vindicators at the retail price of $125,000 each it would cost them $125M to outfit all their turbines. Or they could buy CTW for $16M (plus some premium). They could probably make a successful offer at double the current price $32M. Add in $30,000/unit in cost to produce 1000 Vindicators ($30M more) and then they would have 1000 Vindicators, and the company for $62M (or $62,000/unit)! They would also get all future Vindicators at cost (for new farms) AND they could sell units to other wind farm operators using their massive marketing muscle. The same logic works for TransAlta or any other wind farm operator around the same size or larger.

Or a large turbine manufacturuer (GE, Vestas, Gamesa, Goldwind, Sinovel etc) could buy CTW and roll Vindicator into their turbine. This would set them apart from all the others by adding a 10-20% bonus in energy output.

This puts into perspective how ridiculous the current share price is.
