RE: Critical danger on small caps

RE: Critical danger on small caps

The author of this article is clueless. I do applaud you, ike, for bring this to our attention, however.  It seems as though you might finally be coming to your senses.

The TSXV started to roll over in Feb long before the S&P 500 topped out. Both the TSXV and even the TSX itself are exhibiting a bearish head and shoulders pattern. Last Wed, the TSXV crashed through it's 200D MA (forget about the 120D MA which the author is simply using to support his thesis). If the broad markets remain in "risk off" mode and/or we do not get QE3 this year (as everyone is assuming) then we've got a ways to go still before any sort of bottom in the juniors can be made.  A 10-15% correction wouldn't surprise me in the least bit while a larger crash of 25-40% (like we saw in Q2/Q3 of 2011) can't be ruled out if things get seriously off track.
