I wonder if those buybacks were made to offset the warrants that were just issued?  The amount of shares bought back is only slightly below the amount of warrants issued.  I don't think the warrants are eligible for exercise yet however....just a thought on an ugly day.  PBN seems to be holding up okay though, relatively.
