RE: The Time Has Come... Paul,
Thank you for the well written post. I always enjoyed reading your posts even if I did not agree with them all.
In the end for me, it comes down to whom can I trust, and will therefore do the best job.
Management is a clear winner for me in that regard. I am able to turn a blind eye to the nepotism issue and handsome compensation. My reasoning is that Boleo has been a 20 year project for JG, from staking right through to impending production and subsequent cashflow. I believe that someone who has been as dedicated to such a project deserves to be very very well rewarded. JG has truly created something. If teenage Kendra tags along with Dad on his numerous trips to the Baja, eat, lives and breathes Boleo in the family, then she in my opinion is highly qualified. Sure she may not have university degree that is relevant to her current position, but she is very qualified, through experience and osmosis. You cannot learn the Boleo/Baja knowledge in a classroom that she has.
The people behind MK are undoubtedly highly intelligent as well as experienced in targeting great aquisitions. I do not trust them, either their ability to bring a mine to production and see it though all the different phases, nor to act in all our best interests. Like me, MK are investors, they are not mine creators. They do not have the invaluable skills, experience and contacts that the Greenslade family and team have amassed over the years.
Hence my being pure GOLD
