RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: financing coming I agree newfie, if they wanted to continue drilling they would have raised money 6 months ago. I also believe that they have probably been reviewing several offers and will make a decision a month or so after the election.
I just read that the problems in Mali have been going on for months. They ( the rebels) have been in control of several towns in northern Mali for a while now. What happened today had been anticipated by many. Whether it somehow affects OLE's sale will be known soon. Just another obstacle for us shareholders to deal with. I personally do not think it will have much of an impact. Since Mali has been used for a training ground for al qaeda it maybe a good excuse for the US to get involved and assist in restoring somekind of order there.
I think that OLE is basically in the process of formalizing an agreement. Whether it is $1.50 or $3.00 per share is the question. This coup does not help, but a deal will get done.
