In short,...PAA will NOT meet the april 13 deadline. That I am just about 99.99% sure off.
Instead by that time we will be getting an updated resource estimate from mining plus to sweeten the blow -so to say- for the shareholders of OK of not getting a deal at April 13.
Further, I think PAA somehow will get their hands on that 3 month extension as I think there already must have been some talks between Cope and Burns.
So, though I wished for a bidding war after April 13, I don't really think any other companies will move in when PAA has gotten their 3 month extension.
So, I think best for investors to move their thoughts and patience to July the 13th cause else they will have their hopes crushed.
I do think however the updated resource count will cushion the blow as I see this taking us up a level with a base of at least $3.20 for the time being.
We'll see how much of this will transpire...
