Understand why AOI and Tullow are up so much. The find per say is NOT by any strech of imagination a Gusher, what is really drving them is the fact that they have just potentially placed Kenya on the map in terms of Oil Producing country, this is the first Oil find in that country.
I have shares in a dinky outfit that has a property in Kenya and it jumped 50% yesterday on the news alone, it settle the day with a 35% gain and still strong today. Not recommending hence suggesting it here, as I am looking for a couple more pennies to exit and run away from it - not trusting the Mgmt Team.
None the less....seems we now have a potential new Oil country on the global map. East Africa onshore and offshore is certainly buzzing this year.
