RE: Testy, Testy This board has been a rough place for a while now. Guess that's what happens when you show 10 billion worth of copper in the ground and the stock falls 50% in 2 weeks after it was released.
As for management, I like them and believe in them but others on this this board have different opinions. The challenge they face at the moment is how do they get the market to recognize some of the value they've shown exists. In the 4ish years I've been in this stock that has been a common theme. Most people here are leery of more dilution at these prices and worried that as long time shareholders we are getting bent over by the institutions who are keeping the stock down in the hopes of another pp. Given the volume in the stock since the 43-101 was announced, that is a tough argument to refute.
This company has unbelievable properties. Beyond the 2.5 billion pounds of copper they have Ichuna which has shown big silver numbers in sampling. They also have a property on the other side of penoles at the Aguila site (that is how it was explained to me, but not by management) that also has big copper potential. There are a number of other properties we can only assume have potential as well. Even those that disagree with Reeder would acknowledge that he is as good as it gets when it comes to acquiring Peruvian assets.
If you have regressions or other numbers that can explain to this board what this stock should be at we would love to hear them. Has there ever been another copper play put out a 2.5 billion pound 43-101 and traded with a market cap of 20 million?
On another note, I agree with Benny that it is time for the company to sit still for a while and evaluate the best plan moving forward. The stock is moving into stronger hands and it will take some time but eventually it will get higher. The last few days have been crazy, the mornings have been strong and then around one o'clock someone seems to come in and dump half a million or more shares. Bids have been strong.
