RE: News Releases Good points, AlbertaSurfer. My experience with any discovery drill holes or any "bomb-dropping" news is that good news arrives on a bullet train, while bad news rides the slow boat to China. Good news is released quickly and shouted from the rooftops. Bad news is tucked away at the back of a corporate update or a property aquisition or somesuch.
Almost always, if news isn't forthcoming it's because it's news you don't want. When things are good they happen fast. When things are bad, they are dragged out forever. When Noront discovered the Ring of Fire, the stock was halted the day they pulled the first drill core. Visuals were promptly reported and assays only took a couple of weeks. But a year earlier, when they were drilling another property, which turned out to be a bust, the same process took 8 months. That's just the way it is.
If SLI ever has anything to brag about, they will brag about it loud and fast. Until they do, it's best to assume they have nothing to brag about. Everyone wants drill results when they're not forthcoming, but this should be the last thing anyone wants because they are likely going to suck. What people should want is news of a discovery.
