Crosses from institutions for $2m of stock is common place considering the funds managers they deal with as clients. These funds that buy through the institutional trading desks need positions in excess of $10m to start and build those up over time by increments of $2m on the low end. For a company with a $500m market cap for example, a large fund needs a lead order of at least $10m on its first entrance or it won't play. Just think, whats 500k shares at $4 for a fund like Manulife for example? Nothing. I guess you can believe what you want but man, I hope those of you with the uneducated comments aren't investing your life savings with out professional help b/c that isn't going to end well!
