First Uranium's 7% notes to trade interest flat April 2

2012-03-28 17:22 PT - Miscellaneous

First Uranium Corp.'s 7-per-cent secured convertible notes due March 31, 2013, will begin trading on an interest-flat basis on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the open on Monday, April 2, 2012, according to the TSX. As in a March 5, 2012, First Uranium news release, the company plans to sell its Mine Waste Solutions and its Ezulwini gold mine, and complete a reorganization of the company. To complete the transactions, First Uranium will hold a meeting of noteholders to approve amendments to the note indentures that, among other things, no interest will accrue on the notes after March 31, 2012. If the sale of Mine Waste Solutions is not completed, interest on the notes will be due and payable as specified in the note indentures. The TSX reports that the notes will trade on an interest-flat basis until further notice.
