MOO in a Slump It bothers me that the SP is sagging right now as certain investment houses dump blocks every once in a while. Its very frustrating but, if what Fredski and others have suggested is correct, ie that there are tax reasons behind the dumping then I guess its not as bad as it might first appear. Its needlessly bad none-the-less.
I'm also frustrated that there is a confidentiality clause in the deal which keeps the farmee unknown to us. Lets face it. If the market knew who we have the deal with, be they big, well-known guys or little, less-known guys we wouldn't be at 5 cents right now. Its the uncertainty, the mystery of the thing that bothers the market. There are plenty of stocks to play where most everything is on the table so those who can't endure uncertainty will likely bail and go where there is more. I haven't read the agreement of course but I would hope that the confidentiality clause contains language which would require, at some well defined point in time, that our partner's identity be publicized. I'd like to know what that date is right now.
As many say here and elsewhere, if you can't stand the uncertainty associated with this kind of investing then go buy mutual funds and begone. I've lost quite a bit since I got in just before the '08 crash and have not come close to recovering. Right now MOO is one of my top prospects. It has the goods in the ground and majors all around us. And this is soft-rock geology where "closeology" actually means something unlike hard rock settings where closeology means far, far less.
If this one declines further I may be back at the mutual fund game soon enough.
