I agree, I wouldn't touch anymore of this. The financials did not dictate a cut IF they are properly disclosed.  If you think nat gas prices are going to hurt the future results wouldn't you take some other course,such as say cut some costs, increase production, or maybe sell forward some of the gas to maintain or "sustain the payout"? Maybe this guy doesn't know the meaning of sustain.

Like I tell my kids, so much of what you do is about trust but obviously this executive didn't get taught that lesson. The market is punishing the stock for that lack of trust.

Just because you schmoozed your way to the top of a oil/gas company doesn''t necessarily make you are an Einstein.

Expect nothing more than a good political answer on BNN.  Maybe someone should ask him if he cut his salary because he "thinks" things are going to get worse. That won't happen.

Old story, if it appears to good to be true, it probably is.
