RE: @riskyStox - Acknowledgement & Response Abe Lincoln once said "He can compress the most words into the smallest idea of any man I know."
Don't get me wrong Lex, I love the elloquent and constructive sanity of your posts. Your 'victims' are left re-reading your words trying to discern if they have been complimented or insulted.
The wild speculation on here makes for a tedious task of sorting through all the (mis)information and in turn leads to nit picking and name calling to the extreme.
Shortly, all longs will have the information package which hopefully will fill in many of the blanks.
A while ago (and I posted a link) I was concerned with the worry that Ortsbo's system relied on Microsoft's translation software and as such, would be limited in scope as are all the other translation systems out there. But remembering previous 'tech' lessons allowed me to step back and see the forrest.
There was 4 Track vs 8 Track, VHS vs BETA and most memorable - Microsoft vs Apple. In all those cases, the best did not come out the greatest. The winners were the ones that hit the road in overdrive leaving all competition in the dust. Yes, Apple is finally winning but it was forced to struggle through the entire lifetime of the PC to do so.
With INT, I see it happening again. They are not just dreaming, they are doing. Synergies! Integration with every form of communication to eliminate the language barrier.
We all know how the Internet has brought on a revolution of change to the world. Imagine how the integration of realtime language translation will affect every aspect of our lives. A modern day Rosetta Stone ear implant so to speak.
The company that can bring all the pieces together and make it available and affordable to everyone is going to be the winner.
This is my bet.
