RE: RE: Market clearing I read in an article a couple of months ago that the infrastructure builds and fleet conversions to NatGas are already underway. One of the foremost engine conversion companies is Wesport Innovations out of Vancouver. T. Boone Pickens also has a 20% interest in a company called Clean Energy out of the states involved in the installation of NG fueling depots at major truck stops across North America. The article also stated that a truck NG conversion costs in the neighborhood of $40 grand, but at today's NG prices a full-time trucker can save over $20 grand a year in fuel costs which equates to under 2 year payout. You can bet trucking/ fleet cos are drooling over the money to be made by converting their fleets over to NG.
I don't think we are going to see NG prices reverse the trend here anytime soon. The only hope we have left is for producers to suspend drilling and shut in production and for strong electricity demand keeping those NatGas fired plants going full-bore over an exceptionally hot spring & summer?.
