According to public information Nick is running a small Accounting firm and Mortgage brokerage "mortgage Sense".  I'll assume his tie to The First Canadian Capital Pool is associated the mortgage brokerage and private investors for those stretch mortgage approvals. 

It also says they are in the process of moving accounting offices effective May 1st. 

Pretty busy guy in the process of moving and has to pull a deal together by April 30th.  

I know nothing about him or his capabilities so will leave my comments at that.
