Focus will be on the shares not voted

Focus will be on the shares not voted

MK might have an argument over the 7 MM shares they contend were not permitted to be voted in today's meeting depending on the reasons. If it was a matter of missed deadlines then they need to address that internally and with Kingsdale. I don't think an independent Chair would have permitted votes that did not meet the requirements as in the written Proxy's.

Provided MK doesn't back down I expect the focus will be on having friendly interests (Goldman) acquire more shares, but primarily on the other 21% of shares that did not cast votes in this contest. That is taking the roughly 2% (7MM) shares not allowed off the table. I must admit I am surprised at how high this % was based on how public this Proxy battle was! This was too close not to be anything but Round 1. I hope Baja has a game plan coming out of this Special Meeting to address the current - not future threat.

I will relax and breathe easier if and when I see no signs of further aggression from MK. That may be nothing more than wishful thinking as I do believe Baja needed a stronger mandate from today's battle. Time now becomes important as the longer it takes for MK to make in-roads, the more pressure there should be on an upward movement in share price. Lets get the manganese report update and some drill results out and make it more difficult for the price to be suppressed.
