MK were highly organized with a large team of lawyers and advisers. I'm a great believer in following my gut when apprising people and situations. MK's team reaked of sleaze, oozed sleaze and distrust. Never made eye contact, shifty, very secretive, smarmy, cocksure.
Yes MK lost this fight, but I do not for a one minute believe they are going away with their tales between their legs. I smell another fight and soon. They see the opportunity just like we all do, it they want it all and cheap.
Giles Baynham was either very nervous, ill prepared or not up to the job as Chair. He needs to do better.
BAJ BOD and mgmt need to be allowed to finish building a mine, and at the same time be mindful that it is not their personal fiefdom and they are to be accountable to all shareholders.
I will continue to support management and BoD as I believe that their interests are more closely aligned to mine than those of MK.
